So much hope and joy in these lyrics, i hope that some day everyone, including me, is lucky enough to fully understand them. The messages this song offers are real, but we got to be fully awake to grasp them. This song can ease some of the "sleeping disorders", which are mainly caused by religious- and media-institutions by manipulation and flooding sewage into our heads. There should be more real medicine, like this song, to heal us all. Love.

I found hope in this song. As Cat Stevens, he's really a music legend but as Yusuf Islam, his version of the different songs becomes more amazing and serene. I like him more as Yusuf because he projects a deeper person who exalts God every time he performs.

I'm a 62 yr old Humanist. I still love his music, after all these years. It's a shame religion seems to cause more harm than good. But his heart is good. The music is superlative. When I watch interviews with Yusuf though, I always get the feeling that he is a really nice bloke. To me, Islam has given him an inner peace and stability. We all need to find that something that gives us the same peace and stability be it through spirituality or charitable works or a thousand different things. Steven says it all in this song .... a truly great song ! I deliberately call him "Steven" because his song is about us being truthful to who we are and what we feel.... which made me think of how he changed his name to his fame name 'Cat Stevens' .. and then changed it to 'Yusuf Islam' . His original first birth name was and always will be "Steven" ... ...don't know if you understand what I'm trying to say ..

Also, if you look at him during his Earth Tour, it's obvious that he's tired and frustrated, and is just looking for SOMETHING. Something to believe in. Since he has embraced Islam, and been given a chance to live life on his own terms, it's clear that he's much more relaxed. So, who cares what his beliefs are? We should all be thankful that he's back and willing to give us more great music.
