Just come bsck from hurghada . Looking at istanbul for may and now seen you have a sharm vid 😊. Plan to go sharm in august before my boy starts reception. How did you find sharm ? Weather wise . And which hotel did you go x

To be honest I think Hurghada was so much better for kids than sharm was. I think they are building sharm up but currently I don’t think the roads and vibe is suitable for kids. I found sharm to be more of a couples vibe, very lively with lots of shisha bars and loud music etc. I think maybe in a few years time sharm May be better suited for kids but I don’t think we will be going back there any time soon. I did enjoy Hurghada though so hopefully plan to go there again. Where did you stay at in Hurghada? We stayed at Tropitel Naama Bay in Sharm, it was in the midst of everything, location was good but not the best 5 star hotel we’ve been to and food wasn’t that great either. We went sharm in august and it was tooo hot (around 40 degrees) couldn’t really get out and about much of the day other than swimming which I guess was the best bit to our holiday. Evenings was still hot but more manageable to wander around. Soho square was nice and we went to the old egypt area which was also very nice x

@@YusufFunTv i stayed 10 nights. 5 in rixos which is a new resort in hurghada and then 5 in steigenberger aldau beach. We didn’t go sight seeing much . Just once in the car around everything but most of it seemed banga tbh. Desher lakhan. But The resorts had everything we needed . And with young kids i didn’t want to go out far. So do you think i will be ok just to stay in resort in sharm or would i need to venture out ? Xx

@@s.r3366 we stayed at the Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh when we went to Hurghada, the resort was really good. We spent most of our time in the resort too but did get an Uber into the Hurghada city centre a couple of times which wasn’t too bad (we have a video on that too), it’s the one where we did a day trip to Cairo which was a lovely experience. I think if you don’t want to venture out too much in Sharm then look for a better hotel. Tropitel in Sharm wasn’t that great to just stay in the resort all day long. On a separate note, have you been Kusadasi in Turkey before, fantastic place for kids. Hotels and resorts are much nicer and kid friendly. Turkey is definitely my fave country to go to with young kids at the moment, have a look and see what you think xx
