The scene where Genkai dies, she’s says “You have to” and passes out and dies” She never finished the statement. Here she says “ you have to fight for them Yusuke, for their future.” Such beautiful foreshadowing from back then, to this moment here. I know it’s a little different in the sub, but still great. :)

I submit that this is his human energy finally developing into sacred energy, then that sacred energy is being fused with demon energy. The energy starts yellow, then goes orange (yellow + red), but also makes the distinct shape that sacred has. He had already, earlier in this fight, combined regular human energy and demon energy.

You're actually not wrong, it's implied the only reason Yomi managed to stay standing was due to Shura cheering him on. If Kuwabara had been there, no way Yusuke would've dropped.

This gave me mix feeling of emotions. Excitement, happiness and sadnesses. I first felt sadnesses because in the beginning of this arc, Kuwabara felt betrayed by the group from a misunderstanding. This scene shows that they still care about him. Next, I felt happiness for Yusuke's growth during this spectacular series!! At the beginning, he only cared about himself, because he felt no one cared about him. Dying made him realize that people do care about him and coming back to life was his new goal so they won't feel the pain for losing someone. During these times, he started to understand compassion and started to build friendships from both humans and demons. It shows how much he has matured. Finally, obviously that he unlock a new stage of energy lol. Yu Yu Hakusho is my first anime. As a kid, I didn't understand how deep it was. I only cared about the action as a kid. Now, rewatching the series with a new pair of eyes, I realize how much I can relate with these characters to a certain degree. Great story telling, excellent character development, astounding action and amazing english dub. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🙌💪💪

@@whogivesaphuck8193 Well, earlier in the fight Yusuke used Spirit and Demon energy. Yusuke’s desire to help his friends and changed the world, probably upgraded his spirit energy to Scared Energy. Then he combined it with his dormant Demon energy to create something new, like Konema suggested in that scene. How the hybrid energy, may not be far fetched. But, all of this is pure speculation, there is no real evidence of it being true. What do you think?

Honestly I wonder if Sacred Energy is just a perfect mixture of Demon and Spirit Energy, which would make sense since only Demons can use Demon Energy and humans Spirit Energy.
