My great-great-aunt, sister of my great-grandfather, was Zinaida Ivanovna Yussupova née Narishkina. She was Nikolai's and Felix' great-grandmother, so Felix and Nikolai were my first cousins three times removed.
@huascar6611 жыл бұрын
That is so interesting. Princess Zinaida was considered one of the most beautiful women of Imperial Russia in her day. You belong to quite a noble and honorable family. Such splendor that was lost to the Bolshevik animals!

This familie's story is indeed very interesting! Last year I visited the palace in St. Petersburg, it is beautiful - and I really appreciated the music which they played during the breaks in the audio guide tour. In the end of this video I finally found this music again, it's the piano, just amazing! Could you please help me out: who is the composer, what is the name of this tune? Thanks in advance!

my relatives kept amazing diaries. P. FP was noted in St. Petersburg for going to cafes and clubs, wearing his mothers clothing and picking up guardsmen and cadets. He was also a great friend of a grand dukes, including the GD , who along with himself, killed Rasputin. A fascinating character from the last season in the Imperial court.

Indeed, she was very beautiful (and the richest woman in Russia). Her mother Varvara Ivanovna Narishkina née Ladomirsky was a great beauty. A great many of their descendants are strikingly good-looking, but today, most of us are very poor.

No mention of Felix's penchant for having sex with men, nor his murdering of Rasputin. That's what the family is most famous for.

Happily married for 50 years to Irina and he is gay not bisexual? Funny how you capitalize NOT as if absolute. You would have no way of knowing unless you lived with him during that whole time, so stop pretending you know something others dont.

Deprecjonujecie Chopina!

Huge Yusupov fan? People like this dimwit? He was a cold blooded, busy-bodied killer and huge liar! I dislike him very seriously, actually. I'm a huge Nicolas II fan, and a huge Rasputin fan. I dislike Tsarina Alexandra worse than any of the characters, tho. I think she singlehandedly brought down the dynasty with her cheeky English manner and her foolish false notion that The Russian people would never rise up against their Imperial Family, but she literally didn't stop until that was the outcome!
@evatervala40336 ай бұрын
You are so right. Tsarina Alexandra was hysteric silly women, who despised the poor people. They hated her because she was so arrogant.
