I heard in another video (from Yuta himself) that they don't talk much in their room together but I think it's just because they get along on an unspoken level - they're mature and thoughtful and caring and don't need words to express themselves with each other. Yuta shows his care a LOT in actions and I think Taeil does too but we don't see it as much because it's probably more bts stuff.

Taeil is generally less expressive. He does express a lot in the case of Winwin, but I think it is because Winwin is in general less expressive (esp when he is still struggling with Korean). But yes I agree in this video there is a lot of moments where Yuta and Taeil share a moment that only they understand. Being roomate for a few years says a lot about their friendship.

I think those two get along because they like to have peace and quiet, so they have this sort of domestic comfort. It's a mystery for extraverts, but for introverts, it's very valuable to be able to be with someone whose presence doesn't overwhelm your alone-time. Plus, Yuta and Taeil work a lot, are always surrounded by people, it doesn't surprise me they enjoy mutual silence to recharge their batteries

I am pretty similar to Yuta and my roommate had some similarities with Taeil, we ended up being roommate because we were compatible, we didn't talk that much all day but we were really confortable with each other, we didn't feel like we had to force ourselves to overdo or overtalk, and that's why she remains one of my closest friend till this day, i feel like it's a real dynamic between introvert extrovert and extrovert introvert

What I love about nct it's (probably it's same for all the groups, but to me it's feels like nct has it more),,, since nct is super big itself, so are the units at times...
