Yuta is Japanese and passed the SM Entertainment audition when he was 15-16 and moved to Korea by himself. And he's been a KPOP idol ever since as a member of NCT127, but he really loves J-ROCK, J-METAL, Japanese visual bands. He's always been drawn to rock and has been open about wanting to pursue the genre for his own music. Whenever he shares songs on his radio show (Yuta at home), there are always classic jrock artists being recommended. His covers have also been all rock/jrock in recent years. He's friends with his idol, Hyde, from L'Arc en Ciel as well. This is his true color and self-expression that he's always wanted to have. He also wrote this song (actually 6/7 songs on the album) by himself, so it's no wonder it shows his true self! His fans always joke about him being different from any other idol, from his music taste to his aesthetic. And I'm so happy that he's finally able to share this side of him with everyone unapologetically. Yuta is truly a unique artist. Very happy for the strength that emanates from my beautiful and talented YUTA..❤‍🔥👏👏.
