He is a genius, and it's good to see that the mechanics of nature tend to give rise to those people. I read his books because I heard him speak (TED talk). I instantly knew he is the most intelligent philosopher I ever witnessed performing.

Yuval makes me eager to learn. Since I have read his books [Sapiens not yet] and watched his videos I can think much more analytically and process oriented. I can look at certain processes and systems more objectively and respond accordingly. This is very useful if I am on social media where most users are inclined to respond symptomatically and stay within their own loop of comfort, and omit the possible causes, which may create discomfort. Au contraire I would say if one listens to Yuval ! An alleged pessimist, who gives me hope, because he is a realist!

It’s brilliant how the practice of Vipassana helps to support your inquireries and answers. Thank you immensely for your contribution and guidance of the human kind. Do you think the world would be a better place if everyone went on a 10-day Vipassana course at least once in his/her lifetime? Also, should Vipassana be introduced in the school system?

Me inspiras tanto, me das tanto conocimiento.

The leap from 100M to 8B people is unfortunately bigger than the leap from 100 people to 100M, becuase in both cases of 100 ppl and 100M (a country) you still have enemies ("the others") which is a very hom sapiens thing. In the case of 8B people - all humanity are friends, no enemies, this is a very difficult step for humans

Economics doesn't need consumers, it needs PAYING consumers. Otherwise we'd still have the USSR and Maoist China. International cooperation is key, though that doesn't mean we need to submit to international control. Like free trade is good cooperation, controlled trade is not. Nostalgia is comforting, but it's a romantic notion, not a rational one for determining how we'll move forward. Free will doesn't suffer the person if they hold dear caveat emptor. What you want isn't always what's best for you. That's an age old known entity, just think about gluttony, sloth or any other addiction. But you are free in that you do get to make the choice, even if you've been tricked/seduced.

“God Has Come To You!” The promise of eternal life is the result of God coming to us instead of humans trying to find and meet Him somewhere far away. From the beginning, God has loved each of us with an unconditional and undying love. His original intention was to have a solid and living relationship with each of us. However, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the garden of Eden, their sins created a barrier between us and God. We are separated from Him forever. Instead of allowing us to continue to distance ourselves from Him, God created a perfect plan for recovery-one motivated by His infinite love and mercy for us. The goal of His plan is to completely restore even the most intimate aspects of His relationship with mankind as it existed before Adam and Eve sinned. More than 2,000 years ago, God sent His Son to earth to remove the barrier caused by sin and make salvation available to all. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent his Son into the world, not to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” John 3:16-17 Through his death and resurrection, Jesus paid the full penalty of sin on our behalf and removed the barrier between us and God. This forgiveness is available to all who fully accept Him as their Savior. But this is just the beginning. Before completing His time on earth to join His Father in Heaven, Jesus described to His disciples another important element of God's larger plan. to completely restore humanity to Himself: “In my Father's house (Heaven) there are many dwelling places; otherwise, I would have told you. I'll go and prepare a place for you. When I have gone, and have prepared a place for you, I will return and take you with me, that where I am, there you may also be." John 14:2-3 God not only sent Jesus to remove the barrier of sin, but one day in the future, Jesus will return to bring all believers “home” to be with Him forever. . The Bible says: The time of the fulfillment of the kingdom of God is near, so Repent and Receive the Good News. " ....

Christ said to his followers ‘Ye are gods’. This meant that we share in the consciousness and intelligence of God, of which there can be only One. Christ was not God (some Christians say our god), however, he, through his Christ intelligence, was one with the consciousness and intelligence of God (that is with all that exists). Another way to describe this is Cosmic Consciousness.

Fiction != Invention. Fiction is making up a story that is not true and is likely entertaining. Invention is something made up that is useful.

What is useful? What is the role of art? Arent fictious stories used to illustrate concepts? Aren't fables useful tools that teach morality and simple wisdoms to children? Are every single religious and mythological stories in the world real? If not, are they useful? Also, is entertainment useless? Can we live our modern lives without entertainment?

@@fabiosilva9637 Industrial evolution in the 19th century was a invention. How's that for useful. Starting from that inventions: in cycle, vehicle, motor car, plane, telecommunication. Aren't these things made people live easier? Fiction is good in the sense just to distract ourselves from truth. And live by until some of the people bury and pray over you. All the modern entrainment sources are invention. Cinema was tech invention. As look back and back everything is a invention.

@@cinnamon4605 1) When Hararri says something is fictitious, all he's saying is that it's a human construct and doesn't exist in nature like a law of physics. Don't get stuck in semantics. 2) Stories, narratives, "not-truths", are inventions by your definition because they have very clear function in the forming and preservation of a society. Strangers could only collaborate with one another if they believed in the same narrative. And this is long before the invention of capitalism. Read his book.

Life will be very different, as we continue to make inroads into heaven. What we will encounter and put into use in heaven: (our return journey to lighter forces away from gross matter) will be determined by electricity, (partially discovered) just one form of electricity (there are four in total) and we have some knowledge of electromagnetism. Magnetism, itself, is a mystery and what lies beyond magnetism is a total mystery. Discoveries will be made and an understanding of the quantum and our relation to it. I do not agree with everything Harari says about the future, other than that it could be the case at a superficial level. What we have to understand, and what is important, will be how to wisely use the finer, yet to be discovered, forces. How to fully understand the role of the three forces we already know of (the atomic force became a bomb) plus the transformations the discoveries of finer forces will make in human consciousness and life. How future humans will live and experience their lives with the utilities gained from the discovery and use of these forces. We evolved outwardly to grossness (devolution), our earthly journey (evolution), our return journey into space or involution), that heaven can come on earth has been said, it is a distinct possibility, through the discovery and use of ever finer forces. It won’t be perfect because of duality nothing on earth will ever be perfect but it should be much better than it is now.
