That's a good performance from Yuvi and murali. Glad to see a small time movie make it to this level. It was Prithviraj's genuine dream to make Malayalam movie industry well known around the world. He paved the way by making Urumi a decade ago. Tovino and Basil are taking it to next level by releasing the movie into 200 countries. That literally means this film is reaching to global audience for real. The real advantage with Netflix is that people will be watching this Origin story even after 20 years. Another generation can continue watching this and make it a hit then all over again. A movie never does in OTT. But in theatres, the movie has a shelf life. You can purposefully fail a movie in theatres

Personally, I had to travel out of Kerala when this film was doing its roud among neighbour states and people noticing a Malayalam movie back then made me bit happy. Urumi is not great but way better than Mamangam, Marakkar, Odiyan
