I *LOVE* V1 M. It's my main, and i m solving about 17 seconds! Great cube, for great price. V2 should be in my oppinion very similar.

@@totowolff69420 i have only first version with magnets, but its great, specialy for its price. For me its almost as good as my new GTS3 M. And that one is about 4 times more expensive. On GTS3 M i guess i have only about 0,3 better average.

I'm glad to hear the cube comes dry out of the box. I don't want any nasty factory lube, I'd rather add my own, so it being dry is just a plus for me. Even if good lube is used, it'll still end all over the outside of the cube during shipping, and I'll need to clean it anyway. Rather just have it dry.

The 55m might be a selling point since very few budget cubes are that small. I kinda agree with Phil that it should have a good ootb setup because the main targets are new cubers. However, a good setup for new cubers is difficult to pin down because you have to find out what kind of new cuber we're talking about. For example, when I bought my RS3M 20 as a new cuber, I couldn't even tell that it was dry ootb. I found the settings to be too loose. I tightened it to the point that it's corner cutting is only slightly better than a cheap Rubik's knockoff. Once I began to learn fingertricking, only then did I try lubing and tinkering with the adjustments. TLDR; as long as the cube cornercuts better than a Rubik's Brand, we're only finding the best for value budget cube.

i just dont understand one thing why do u care about the out of box feel (if its not ur first cube) every cube needs a little bit of modification to make it perform better and have a nicer feeling, so i think this cube is worth it if adjusted and lubed properly (lube costs around 7 usd and it lasts for a very long time lol). its just like a red switch its bad out of the box but it feels great once lubed

it's a beginner cube and most beginners don't wanna spend extra cash to set up their cube, nor they do want to learn how to setup cubes. Beginners just wanna get a cheap, solid cube that they can get straight into using.

Just got the cube. Honestly it's not as bad as they make it out to be after even minimal setup (traxxas 10k in the core), however there is one serious flaw, where Jesse eluded to possibly needing a different center design to mitigate the catches, it's actually the bottom of the corner stock having interference with the core itself. I was able to mitigate it by filing down the parts of the core that caused interference, but if you're going to have to do that anyway, then you might as well just get the RS3M 2020 instead and call it a day.
