As the commentator who is the former Olympic medalist, Takeshi Honda, stated, Yuzuru's first 4Lp improved a lot due to the more height and more stability. And the last series of 4Tlp+1o+3S were magnificient. Overall, this run-through was what Yuzuru wanted to make it. Unfortunately for him, his asthma hit him just before the FS, which took the energy away from his body. Without asthma, he could have achieved the score of 210+ easily, as he did in the Japan National.

I agree with you, if his asthma didn't attack him on that day, he'll probably receive high score

This worlds was a horrible experience. The pandemic and then knowing that he came down with an asthma attack afterwards. The man looked ready to collapse any time at first but he still kept going. I'm not sure how he does what he does. Like we all know he would have slayed like he did at jnats2020 and won here. He was also in 1st place after the sp despite being underscored. There really isn't anyone like him in this sport. He reminds me of Rafa so much at times like these, the way they persevere, their love for the sport after achieving everything and even to the extent where their injuries, reactions, and health conditions are thought to be fake or exploits for media attention by miserable haters.
