I blindbought it when it was released and regretted it. I actually gave it away right after... Y you ask? (Pun intended) It smells like Sauvage/Dylan Bleu/Bleu De Chanel with a green apple vibe to it. You get a fizzy almost sour apple with a woodsy background, it's smell ok i suppose but to me it wasn't really something i needed, especially when you already own something like previously mentioned: Sauvage, Dylan Blue, Bleu de Chanel. If you DO NOT own any of these i'd say go for it, other than that there are tons of better options to choose from. Great review! I want to get into OneMillion Lucky, can anyone describe how it actually smells like after a few hours except the opening phase?

Having experimented with it for a few weeks now (all in late spring/early summer, in the mild-warm climate of the Pacific Northwest US) I give this about a 7.2 out of 10. The EDP concentration makes it a good performer, 2-3 sprays seem to last me 6-7 hours. It transitions from a happy/citrusy opening, into to a more serious, woodsy dry down. I wouldn't wear it in confined indoor environments, especially around people who have fragrance sensitivities (please, people, be aware and respectful about this!). I wouldn't consider this a good beginner fragrance as it's the type of juice that works well if applied correctly and in the right setting, but can easily be offensive if used incorrectly. My rule of thumb is if I can smell myself quite strongly some time after applying, then others are smelling me even MORE strongly, which is not what you want. I could see this juice working in different seasons, I'll be interested to try it when the cooler months come around. I've got a few other fragrances in my collection that I reach for in summer. This one is rather complicated in my opinion, but I would still consider it good.

I was really excited about this one. I started seeing it anywhere on youtube. Left and right. I finally had the chance to smell it, but I was really dissapionted. It starts off fresh, pretty generic, random and turns into a lighter version of invictus. To my nose, after a 3-4 hours and the rest of its presence on the skin/paper, it resembles a lot to invictus by paco rabane, which I don’t really like. To my nose this one is closer to Sauvage that to its brother Y edt. Even the bottle s paintjob is same as Sauvage and the box also. I prefer the edt version....more apple and sage I think.

I don't know if my knows is getting mixed up because of the Belk counter Steven, but I just sprayed it on my hand and I'm getting an almost Dior Homme Cologne vibe from the opening to mid with that blue background. Nice review per the usual. I didnt think much of the original Y but im interested in this one. Ill sample it this week. As far as the "Y"...i presumed it represented the male chromosome... which i thought was clever. The generational theme never occurred to me. Im an Xer but ill give Y a shot.

Would you recommend buying if I already have a Dior Sauvage EDT? What do you think could possibly be the difference?

I think they're quite different. Dior Sauvage EDT is fresher and has more citrus with a note of ambroxan. Y by Yves Saint Laurent is a bit sweeter and more for a night out. Sauvage is the type of fragrance I would wear casually.
