I’ve gotten at least 2 compliments a day wearing this fragrance for the past week and convinced it will be my signature scent. It’s a fresh scent that’s not as harsh as Bleu De Chanel but with a sweetness almost like first instinct. I feel it has a depth to it and very aromatic where you constantly smell it without getting a headache 10/10

I feel like YSL has a bit more of a aggressive start but has more layers and Bleu de Chanel is a bit more mellow with not as much layers. I prefer BLEU

This is by far my most complimented fragrance! (Bought it 4 months ago)... Its fresh, but still with some sexy deepth, so you can easyli wear this one in the wintertime as well. I just tested this fragrance today and received quite a few compliments, from people who normally don't compliment me. I just wish I could enjoy it. The citrus bothers me too much and it's very loud and strong. I do not think I would find myself reaching for this over other's that do the same thing, and I find it better suited for summer and the office, instead of a night out or a date.

Definitely an improvement over the EDT. The notes are deeper, more engaging and lasts a decent amount of time. An overall pleasant smell designed to be safe and mass appealing. Not a bad fragrance by any means but nothing innovative , nor does it brake any new ground.

I've just recently bought the original EDT as it had a 33% discount, but I'm quite disappointed with the performance. It's pretty much gone after 4 hours on my skin and I would've liked it to have been a bit stronger from the start. Sounds like I definitely should've gone for the EDP.

The shanghai skyline is pretty dope. I got Y EDP when it first was released. Good fragrance, a little heavy for the office but it does last longer than the EDT. I would analogize to Sauvage EDP vs EDT. EDP is more for the night and a bit heavier but you can pull either off all day. EDT is a bit more clean and light.

I had a sample of that from Macy's. I sprayed it on each side of my neck and both wrists 2x. Sillage was ok for around 1hour and it was completely gone in 2 hours. I had to spray again after 2 hours. But it smells AMAZING!

Hello guys, I have a question to all of you. I didnt spent too much time with fragrences till now so I am far away to know every of the good fragrances there are out there. This is why I need your help. I made a list of 4 fragrences for myself but my probmlem is, that I dont know if there are better substitutes for the fragrances I picked. The fragrances in my list are: Dior homme parfume, Prada l´homme, JPG ultramale and Versace dylan blue. I would be very thankfull if you would help me. And btw. My advice is to go out and smell the perfumes man. Buy the ones you love most and would most want to smell like. I know that sounds like a cop out answer but it's not, trust me. I was where you are not so long ago. I wish I had just done this back then instead of spending over a thousand dollars trying to figure out what I was into.

I personally thought it would be clever to have on the one hand an casual and on the other hand a formal fragrance for day and night (casual: Versace & JPG formal: Prada & Valentino). And a fragrance for all seasons: Dylan blue for summer, Ultramale for fall and winter, Uomo intense also for winter and Prada l'homme for spring. And with Dylan blue and Uomo intense would I had 2 great date fragrances and Ultramale would be together with Dylan blue a nice clubbing fragrance :) Would be nice if you could tell me one or even more fragrances which I could replace 1 to 1.

Sorry I don't think you fully understood what I was trying to say. I don't mean that you should go with your list try before you buy them. I mean that you should just ditch the list and go to the store and look around and buy what your nose pulls you towards. For example, how did you arrive at Dylan Blue out of all the fragrances of its kind you could have picked? I told you I was where you were right? I actually blind bought Dylan Blue and found out I rly didn't like it. It smelled just like shower gel to me and thats it, very boring on my skin. Other options in its catagory include Sauvage (which I also blind bought) and Bleu de Chanel, which were also pretty underwhelming. But Mr. Burberry, which is also one of the blue fragrances, I actually loved. It's got a woodiness that makes it more complex to me. Other blue frags to try: JPG Popeye Prada Luna Rossa Carbon Invictus Aqua Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique Dunhill Icon Racing Jimmy Choo Man YSL Y Another thing you have to consider is not only how things smell to you, but how they smell on you. I have a friend that owns sauvage and it doesn't smell good on him! It smells annoying on him actually. idk how to explain it but it does. Another thing to consider is not only how they smell to you, or how they smell on you, but how they smell in conjunction with your personality and overall style of dress. So you have Ultra Male in there which does indeed smell good but raises some red flags to me. Because it's a very circumstantial fragrance. It definitely screams playboy, player, outgoing, extrovert, fun. Are you that guy? Not saying that's the only personality type, but your personality and overall vibe is def something to consider. I feel like it's a scent that would go well on a lot of black people because they tend to wear brighter colors, especially if they're like the chris brown or trey songs type. Also, this is definitely a going out fragrance and I wouldn't suggest is as an all around frag for winter. It's highly specialized. Other going out/winter frags to consider: Armani Code Profumo 1 Million line Spicebomb CH Men Prive - masculine, laid back Versace Eros Velvet Orchid Pure Malt Sauvage / ADG Profumo (not specifically winter frags but good for all seasons/occasions and perfect for the club and winter) Or any fragrance that has good longevity and projection honestly. Again, don't go based off the internet go based of your nose. But if you want winter/club and are not sure if what you like would fit that setting you can always look at fragrantica. Do you tend to wear very casual clothing or do you lean into business casual type clothes? Are you the type of guy that would wear a scarf or bowtie comfortably? Do you tend to wear darker colors, colorful, or mix? If you're getting into frags I ALWAYS recommend anyone, don't limit it there. Fragrance is only one side, you also have to think about your clothes, accessories, and overall look. Remember, *you should aim to wear your fragrance, not let it wear you.* That's the difference between a girl finding your cologne sexy, and a girl finding YOU sexy. And the more it fits your personality and style, the closer you get to that. This doesn't mean you have to be a fashionista. A guy who only wears jeans and a white T/wife beater would be totally weird wearing ultra male. But he might rock the hell out of Nautica Voyage or Aqua Amara. Or if he's a very manly guy he might totally rock a Dior Fahrenheit or John Varvatos Dark Rebel. So my recommendation is to hit up your your local department stores (Macys, Nordstrom, Sephora) and try out a bunch of frags. Narrow your list down to the ones you love and the ones that fit most well with your personality and overall look/aesthetic. Then look them up on fragrantica and sort into your seasons and situations and then bam, you're done. You might get a much more unique and interesting list then the one you have now, and TRUST me, you will love your fragrance collection all the more because it is YOURS, and not Jeremys or anyone elses on the internet.
