I first listened to this album in 2019, a year after it was released, and now that I rediscovered it after so many years this hits so different now... I first discovered it when I started high school and was afraid of change and being lonely, but several years later, and now that that part of my life is over, I still sometimes feel those fears come back repackaged. Crazy how some things don't change despite the passage of time. Weirdly enough, I find this album to be soothing in a way, despite how harsh some of its tracks can be. Possibly because of what it meant to me back then. I'll forever love this album for that 🖤
