Of course we eat fruits almost every day when we are in Asia, this is almost a given. The thing is that fruits are not available in any place and any country, not in the number and of the price you can find them in India. We already knew that there are some good fruits here but we wanted to make a video showing how we try a whole lot of them. So here we go, brace yourself and see what we thought. Please watch the whole video without skipping ahead, and try not to run away.
#indianfruits #india #indiavlog
Please don't skip the adds as this is what keeps us running, give the video a like and maybe even a comment if it is not too much to ask for as it then will be more present in todays KZbin algorithm.
In case you want to make a contribution feel free to sent us something on paypal: moonshine.lemongrass@yahoo.com.

tasted fruits from US and India and i see a clear cut difference in terms of taste and flavor. Fruits here in US are jumbo sized and potentially genetically modified. However in india the size is small but it has the typical tropical flavor and taste which you cannot get anywhere in the world.

When I went to a other country tastes of vegetables and sweetness completely gone down even in coconut. Maybe not all countries like that. I just went to abraod even the pumpkin is just like waste not sweet like in Kerala India. I tasted tamring fruit I spot off , it was not sweet instead bad taste . I tasted lemon it has no aroma and tastes not good as the lemon there imported from the west.

Anything is genetically modified when they are naturally cross pollinated, they are all good - for e.g. seedless watermelon is genetically modified. Does anyone complain?

That's not true actually. Mostly tropical places have good quality fruits or vegetable as of the climate. You can overcome soil deficiency with chemical/bio/water soluble fertilizer and also Europe, UK, America don't purchase seed from Asia as they have strict restrictions for Genetic plant disease and other reason and hence they can't practice more fruit farms.. But South America have good fruits. Don't get mis information, always check or google it.. Use google translate or google lens to recognise things that you can't identify. Use technology.. Europe also have problem with the shell life of fruits as the govt don't allow ripen fruits in super markets as per standard but ripen or over ripen fruits are much healthier. Like for example if we have ripen bananas, hand mix it with corn flour and some salt, paprika, lime and other spice and make fritters out of it (oil/air fry) And enjoy snack Green banana (ripen from inside but looks green) Yellow Banana Red Banana (Rich in Iron) Plankton (Unripe Bananas that can be used like potato in curry or can be fried to make chips or boil and eat as snack.)
@hemanthkumar5438
@hemanthkumar5438 Жыл бұрын
Green banana is a variety called Robusta, it has only 2,3 days of shelf life, that's why they are selling it slightly raw, it will ripen very quickly and will stay green even when ripe. The small yellow one is poovan , it's good for making banana shake. several varieties are locally sold, 4,5 of them are most common.

You should always pick mangoes by smelling them, Sweet mangoes always smell fragrant and soar once smell citrusy. Grapes need to be washed before you eat because they might have pesticides on them. In monsoon season you should eat watermelon kept in room temperature and if you refrigerate it and eat cold you might end up catching cold.

Also, the silly folks from the Northern states, don't realize the contributions from Kerala , and why India was the land of spices.. Most of the spices were grown in the south. Literally for 2000+ years, the Europeans (southern part , like the roman empire), traded with KERALA to get black pepper and cinnamon. IT was worth more than gold for the most part, and thanks to the trading of these spices, it made India filthy rich. Kerala was the state in the past which was responsible for trade with Portuguese, Arabs, Dutch, Danish, British, French, Eastern Africa, Chinese, and ancient Israel. It has history of early Christians' going back to pre-age of discovery, so one of the earliest Christians' outside of Israel. One of the examples of its richness is the padmaswaby temple, the richest in the world.

Most of the green bananas i guess were regular ones which needs to get ripe. The green ones that you can eat are called robusta . They are sweet. And then there is another one which is magenta ish in color called kadhali. You can find a lot of variety of bananas tbh.

Robusta is the genetically modified variety of Green bananas, these green bananas never turn yellow. Those green bananas are already ripen, they can keep it for a day or two if they want it to be more ripen, it never changes colour.
