Yvette Coppersmith talks with Maria Stoljar

Maria Stoljar interviewed Yvette Coppersmith for episode 139 of the Talking with Painters podcast published in February 2023. Yvette has been painting for over 20 years and her work, crossing portraiture, still life and abstraction, is held in many public and private collections. In addition to winning the Archibald Prize (Australia's most famous portrait prize) in 2018, she has won the Metro 5 Art Award and has been a finalist multiple times in many prestigious portrait prizes in Australia, including the Doug Moran, Portia Geach, and Darling Portrait prizes.
