Yeah it is just a practice thing. I didn't know how I'd ever be able to sing over finger style with a different rhythm between lyrics and guitar, but I've recently tried singing Fast Car with the help of some videos which basically say what you'd expect, just go slow to start off with and build it up, and already I'm starting to be able to do something that I found nearly impossible before.

But this made me understand that I'm young and have many chances to practice over and over again until I realize what I thought was once impossible, is something completely possible just as you mentioned.

This is so good!!!!!! It's very very hard to pick sing while playing the riff. Most of us can chords it. She comes up with her original music and style that is so organic and admirable. And her voice is beautiful and the guitar techniques is beyond noobs like me. Go Yvette you rock!!!!!!!
