I am honestly going to say no. He has bars, he is not as great as many make out to be. Yes he is different, sometimes he seems out of pocket however he finds hidden pockets. In rap though, commercial top 20, in real rap, underground top 500. So yes he will compete and beat many mainstream rappers, just when you speak real rap, I will just mention King Los an Daylyt, then it will be understood when we compare real rappers. Not to say I don't enjoy Ghetts, infact he is one of my best from uk, along with his college mate Wretch, and Avelino, and Dave just to name a few.

The "Calm Ghetts got the whole scene puzzled, man wanna know where I found this peace/piece" bar is actually referencing his older music, back in the day he was a lot more aggressive, sometimes he would even scream his bars. A lot of people were confused when he just decided to change his whole style, since he was kind of known for scream-like style of spitting. Personally I like both styles just as much, some people really don't like the screaming and some people prefer it, it's all down to ur personal tastes. But if ur interested I definitely think u should check out some of his older, more aggressive music. A few worth mentioning are Karma, Venomous tongue, Threats, Buss 1, Shakey, Fire In The Booth part 2 and Esco's Spirit. He also did a radio set with Sir Spyro, Rudekid and I think one other producer on the decks, there's a video of it called "Ghetts puts the grime scene on hold"
