Yvoire, France - The Pearl of Lake Geneva

Yvoire is a small medieval city built in the early 14th century and located on
the French shore of Lake Geneva. The town was fortified by Amadeus V,
Count of Savoy from 1285 to 1323.
The biggest attraction in this village has to be the award winning floral displays. I spoke with a man who was tending to the vegetation outside his Ice Cream Shop and he told me all the vendors tend to their own plants. There is no shortage of colorful flowering plants here and they seem to be growing on the side of every building in town - so beautiful!

That town is full of charm! all the houses are very beautiful and like from a medieval tale. It is wonderful to see the beautiful variety of plants and flowers decorating the houses. Great place and video my friends 👍

This is such a lovely town along the shore of Lake Geneva. I love all the cool shops along the roadside. I have been to Paris and enjoyed the experience. But if I ever get back to France, this is what I want to see... smaller French towns that are beautiful and not so crowded. Thanks for introducing me to Yvoire!
