Genuinely curious- why would a German want to learn Welsh? It sounds like such a niche language to dedicate yourself to. Don't get me wrong, I am very impressed and think you are awesome!
@roddersfiftynine2 жыл бұрын
@@leosmith8596 Hi Leo and greetings from Germany. The reason I am learning welsh, apart from it being probabaly the oldest spoken language in Europe, is simply because my boyfriend comes from the Llyn Peninsula (born in Criccieth, grew up in Borth y Gest , near to Porthmadog and works in Caernarfon) and he is passionate about Cymru in general and cymraeg in particular. He introduced me to Ywain Gwynedd`s fantastic music (wonderful lyrics and eye-candy musicians) and I am a fan. He also used to watch Ywain when he played for Port and kinda had the hots for him (from afar !!). I have been to Wales several times and have also fallen in love with Snowdonia and the friendly locals. Hope that wasn`t too much information !

Read the translation on google! My friend introduced me to this (he’s in his 60’s) he heard it and it touched his soul! We’re Welsh but can’t speak it lol when he found out what it was about it took it to another level of musical magic for both of us.. the meaning comes through in the song even though we don’t understand the language.. he/they were inspired walking their son to school (I think) and noticing how his son see’s the joy in the world in a way us adults seem to forget. He wishes he could see the world through his eyes .. It’s beautiful and full of Love and Joy .. ✌🏻🫶🏼
