YZ 250 Engine Teardown... Should I use it?

Here I tear down a YZ 250 engine to see if its worth saving. There is some putty or JB weld on the case and I need to decide weather to use it or not. Let me know what you think in the comments. I bought this to replace the YZ 125 engine in the Raptor 250. I just need more power!

Should I replace the case half? Should I part this out and look for another donor (I wont lose a dime)? I really kinda want it to look pristine and i defiantly don't want a leak

Looking at this quad right now deciding it is going to the barn. Shop is a mess from the 6th project I started... the cummins truck teardown and build. It will be the CR500 and Truck that are the focus of the channel for a bit. 500 will be completed first and something else (maybe this) will take the stage. I lied already... Forgot the quad that I picked up yesterday that will make 1 or 2 appearances before its gone. That gets shot Friday
