When it comes time are you willing to take on my husqvarna 701? Husqvarna recommend valve check at 6,000 +- 500 miles. You make it look EZ. lol Thanks for sharing my friend.

So the drag feel gave you no indication to try and slide next size thicker feeler in? Have you ever considered relocating the air compressor into it's own location out in a shed? I recently bought a IR V twin 5 hp unit and is so quiet is amazing. I have seen people on the internet question do I put timing chain tensioner in before timing the cams.

On the drag thing. Yes it does make a difference. These were great. Normally valves tighten up these days so rarely do you find one loose unless you just changed shims or rebuilt the top end. For a check, I can’t remember the last time I found one too loose. As far as the tensioner, you can’t install it before you time the cams.
