During the unloading of the barge, there is a high risk of leg injury due to large stones that roll down the slope at the mouth of the unloading conveyor. I wish the guys who are engaged in unloading work to SAFELY!!!!

I've helped extricate several folks who were buried alive in trench, silo, and hopper incidents. Worked some on the way to the hospital in the back of the truck and bird. Waited on the coroner with others before we put them in the big bag with the zipper.

There is a conveyor belt in the middle the wooden boards cover the conveyor belt if they do not do that the belt would not be able to move the weight of material on top of it so they have to remove the boards as the load works backwards on the barge

99.x% of the time, the everything goes fine. Now and again, stuff goes badly, and people die. The goal, ideally, is to minimize the change of something going wrong with practical, affordable measures. What if the rope slips, for example? There's seemingly no resort of last measure safety harness or something of the sort. I get it, people have been doing dangerous jobs for a very long time, and many walk away from it with no serious injuries. And maybe there's no way to improve on this, but it sure looks like there could be a safer system.
