Oooh, more of this format of themed build videos? Love seeing that become a thing. So, ratings as requested: Razorfin 8/10 - To come out the gate with the heavy of this set is certainly a choice for setting a benchmark and oh that design blends so well with its actual capabilities. Leaning into the Trailmakers typical blockineness makes it sturdy and the shark silhouette does not lie about its speed and chance of a bite. The weakpoints of the design to me are twofold. For one, it shares the same weakness the cyclops design has in my eyes: The front. Going streamlined into a totally different, much less hydrodynamic piece of glass just to have a great viewport may be functionally reasonable in-universe (where you wouldn't have an orbit drone camera as your perspective), but the form suffers as a result. The other weakpoint of the Razorfin are the blasters. It's cool that they can turn broadside like that, but the turrets feel oddly out of place - not functionally mind you, just in terms of the silhouette in this specific configuration. Hurricane ?/10 - Don't know. For some reason no specific number comes to mind, but it's obviously still hovering around the Razorfin's rating for me. There are some parts that make it better, namely how incredibly solid those new wings look, but there are also some parts that don't sit right with me, namely the top fins on said wings not making sense backwards. So yeah, no idea if it's better or worse than the Razorwing, but it's amazing how well it works as an aircraft regardless. Manta 9/10 - That's a slick, little design with the only weakness still being that viewport, though less overtly so than that of the big crafts. The turret? Nice. The silhouette inspiration? Awesome choice and execution. The fact it transitions between sea and sky that seamlessly? Absolutely incredible. Crawler 7/10 - Feels a bit mean to give your favorite the lowest score of the set, but what makes it awesome is mainly down to functionality. Visually, it definitely has its shortcomings; most of which brought on by Trailmakers limitations. Staying on the side of positives though, the way it neatly folds up its legs to swim is a nice touch and the fact that idea of a salvaging mechanism actually functions that well is awesome to see. This is definitely the sort of thing I'd expect to in-universe come swarming in groups and mount themselves to the hulls of transports like mechanized barnacles of some sort. Just that mental image alone is a great aspect of the design. Plus, the propulsion is believable. Where it falters is actually the blockier bits and especially that front just being one big, 45° LED panel. Again, not much you could've done within Trailmakers constraints, but there is some room for improvement like just not making the entire front the window and playing with the detail a little more there. Also, its walk cycle looks silly, but that's just me.

Razor Fin: 8/10. It's a solid build overall and I don't got any problems with it, but compared to the Manta, it is ultimately a more situational vehicle. Hurricane: 8.5/10. Much the same reason as the above but gets a .5 higher because I like it's design a little bit more. Manta: 10/10. That versatility is pretty huge for an exploration team. It being slow underwater and small makes it more versatile in underwater scenarios, and it's speed in the air means that it can easily keep up and scout ahead in the air for the first 2. Crawler: 10/10. It isn't as fast, but the fact it can not only move like a sub but also walk underwater and on land is pretty cool. And the fact it serves it's purpose perfectly adds points overall. It's no fighter, and that's perfectly fine. It does its designated role very well.
