The Narrator for this game made me laugh so much as a kid. This is the kind of slapstick game that they need to remake but not overdress. Alot remakes are taken way too far out of context as to only have the name being the only real similarity. Favorite part was checking everything out on a screen and being entertained the entire time.

This might sound dumb, but I feel like some of the Starcon members (like Kielbasa) might’ve been paid off by Sharpei to not investigate Project Immortality and/or had Roger sent to her room to kill him off. The fact Kielbasa tried to force Roger to return wasn’t more of him stopping Roger from doing something stupid but more to prevent Roger from screwing up any plans that can get Starcon into real legal issues

This came out when I hardly did any adventure games anymore. I was a bit dissapointed by the cartoonish look and thought its graphics were bad compared to Space Qusest IV (Did see V, but never played it). I got stuck quite soon in the game and put it aside. However months later I tried again and find some stuff quite amusing and considered the game not as bad as on first glance. Cant remember the storyline however except for some parts, but I am sure watching this will bring back some memories. Realy like all the Sierra online youtube walkthroughs. It brings back some fun moment from a piece of history. I doubt these kind of games will ever be back. Edit: now I have watched this, it turns I hardly cant remember the 2nd part. I wonder if I ever finished it. It contains a load of boring cutscenes. Not the best product of Sierra.

Surprise! These types of games are back. (See the latest Monkey Island release for more info.) Though honestly, they never quite left. They just went into hiding for a bit. You can find a ton of modern Point and Click Adventure games on GOG and Steam, including Kathy Rain, Deponia series / pretty much anything by Daedallic, Syberia, Beyond a Steel Sky, Bradwell Conspiracy, Jenny LeClue, and many more. Those are just the big names. There are a number of indies who put out adventure games that are fun in their own right. AR-K series is a lot of fun for example, though I'm patiently still waiting for the final episode.

@@ukaszdziemianko7797 I think it had something to do with the producer or lead designer being different. But storywise, even in the setting of Space Quest this is a bad writing decision and rather pisses on the events of the previous game. I also find SQ6 a bit 'aimless' here and there. There is a longer running plotline but it feels sometimes that its absent until it is reminded that is suppose to be at work. I may be a bit biased as I am a Star Trek fan, at least was, and the idea of Roger going around commanding a ship and having a crew of his own is just much more enjoyable. Also can't help but be a little reminded of Red Dwarf as well.

I wonder how many people even got the joke? One of the big pieces of background news at the time was how the government was investing to build the "Information Super-Highway". A name given to major upgrades to the internet backbone to support heavy commercial and multimedia activity. The project itself didn't really go anywhere (thus the joke about "Opening... NEVER!") but did provide some foundation to the upcoming DotCom boom.

The inside of the office is just a Window 3.1 interface, showing how poorly run the whole thing is. I didn't find it funny , myself , or really understand the humor of it , but I found it noteworthy because , wow , if that happened to me , that would be quite terrible . But I think that the message intended to be conveyed had something to do with making someone feel hurt and powerless , because power and control belonged to the person threatening to wrongly frame and to wrongly prosecute the other person , at *least* one more time .
