Z cam e2m4 review after 2 years - Still worth it?

I shot an entire horror feature film with my E2-M4 in October '22. It was the maiden voyage for the rig too! The image quality is superb for a budget-friendly cube design.

I can't believe how affordable these cameras are. I purchased mine used for under $1000 usd with a rudimentary lens but with a viltrox speedbooster included. I don't use the lens and i use the zcam turbomount to speed boost my rokinon cine DS lens set. It's incredible value and produces gorgeous images. I'm just now learning about utilizing them as NDI network devices and going to try to dive into doing live AVOIP productions.

Please, don't be too sad with my comment: I would never buy this camera based on the image quality I saw on this video from the beginning. It looks blurry and noisy... Looks like you filmed yourself using an iPhone 4. When you make a review of a Cinema Camera, people are expecting super crisp, stunning video quality.

We live in an audiovisual world, however 99% of youtubers talk and talk without showing much of what matters most to us: the camera. If you've been with the camera for two years, the least you can do is show a full minute of what you've been able to do with the camera, let's hope that one day video youtubers think that those of us who watch this type of content are to see results visual because we can get the technical part of the camera in any blog

Hey, nice video! I saw in another z-cam review that you can make the VFR slow-motion files play back in normal speed, it is somewhere in the project fps or vfr settings. I don't remember where, but it is possibble. So you don't have to view the 50fps files in slowmo in post! I will put a link down under this comment if i find the video that explains it

Don't use the VFR Mode for 50 or 60 FPS. So you have normal audio. You can set 50/60 FPS in a other menu. Unfortunately I'm not in my office, so I can't tell you the name of the menu option.

Got the Zcam E2M4 few months agoo, i really like this camera. What do u think about the Tilta Vmount? I have it but not comfortable mounting a heavy V mount battery on it.

I initially wanted the slimmer type ii version of the Tilta adapter but they stopped selling them in black so I got a generic adapter that came with a p-tap port on the side which was nice. I am considering the type i adapter because I want to try the ergonomics of an extended back. I use the Zitay BZ-H1 plate from Amazon first before using any v mount adapters you should try that out
