Z cars opening early 70s BBC1

Hey! We recorded a couple of these at BBC Pebble Mill in the early 70s. In one of them we had a a massive number of retakes of one scene where the actor had to say ' Dixon of Dock Green wants to see you down at Dock Green nick.' The actor just couldn't get it right and the studio was in muffled hysterics with some of the double entendres he came out with.

This may have been the first without any police Zephyrs in the intro, coinciding with the "updated" theme tune.

@GayWorldOrder I think most of the black and white ones from the 1960s were wiped, the colour ones from the 70s, a lot of those survived, but I'm not sure of the percentage.

I was told there are no complete episodes of the telly series in existence, all segments were allegedly obliterated due to contractual disputes, or perhaps the BBC crew strike?
