Thank you for watching our video. This part of Sham Shui Po was redeveloped in 1960-70's. Apliu Street was once my favorite place as there I could buy cheap vinnyl records.

I grew up in SSP from 1960s, then married and moved to NY. OMG....towards the end of the video at the bus stop, I saw my old building across the corner (LaiChiKok Road/PeiHo St)....bring back lots of old memories.....thank you for sharing!

Thank you for watching our video. This part of Sham Shui Po was redeveloped in 1960-70's. Here some buildings of 9 floors or below do not have elevators. Residents living in upper floors still need to use stairs today.

@@EC-Channel Exactly......we lived on the 4th floor, so need to walk up 3 flights. We sold the apartment in 2017 and moved my mother to Mei Foo with elevators which was better for her. She passed away in 2019 and I still went to SSP neighborhood when I went back to visit in 2023.
