I think you also could use spray on glue for the second round of glitter. That modge podge is sometimes hard to deal with.

Beautiful work and I really hope that the piece holds up for you over time. The pieces at Z Gallery are made using epoxy acrylic. Mod podge would work for a smaller piece but isn't really strong enough to hold that weight from the crushed glass. Please let us know how it does in a years time.

Wow amazing. Did you wait after doing the first batch of mod podge and the glasses? For it to dry? Or did you do both layers together at the same time without any drying time in between?

Thank you! I waited until the next day to do the second layer. You don’t have to wait that long but because this was such huge piece, I took my time😊

I’m so glad you are inspired. I was the same way, wanting something nice to put in an empty space but I didn’t want to pay too much for it 😩 so I decided to create my own. I got the crushed mirrored glass from Michaels. They have a variety of colors and they’re almost always on sale🙂 and you can get glitter from almost anywhere. I got mine from Walmart. I just came across your channel for the 1st time & I love this piece !! I also do this type of art & love it. I was actually doing it before Sherry Moulton got her channel up but I do paint pouring also & just don't have the time or patience for having a channel & dealing with all the KZbin b.s. lol. But you did a great job on this & actually in my 2 FAVE colors ... I will use blue in silver in any painting I can. Lol . As far as the music ...I could care less if someone were playing bongos in the background. Lol. I'm concentrating on the ART itself and just seem to tune out the music and there is such a thing as a volume button that people can use if they don't enjoy the music....so get your jam on to whatever music you like girl !!! I also watch a very nice woman who pours and she has a grandfather clock in the background & its the one sound I can't seem to block out. Hahaha. So heck yeah bring on the tunes !!! Anyway I love this video and will definitely subscribe and share . I look forward to seeing more of your work & good luck with your channel !!! You have a beautiful talent !!! 😉😉😉😉💖💖💖💖💖 Oh & the comments that mentioned wanting to see it from a distance ... I have a smaller wall area just I keep blank with just a nail in it so that when I'm done with a piece O can just hang it on that wall and take some good pictures of it to post ... its painted a really light gray so it doesn't clash with the look of any colors I use in my paintings ....just a thought.... I know its sometimes hard to get a good shot of larger paintings & rather than leaning them against something or whatever hanging them.on a wall gives viewers a general idea of how they will actually look on their own walls . Forgive me if you know these little tips I don't wanna come off as one of "those" kinda people but just wanted to mention it just in case. Lol. Happy painting !!! 😜😜😜😜😜 I also wanted to ask you if you feel that the sponge tip brushes soak up more or less than just using regular brushes.??.. I use soft really large Filbert brushes so that I don't get streak marks but if the sponge tips seem to not hold onto as much paint then I was thinking of switching to those. I do use them to varnish my pour paintings that I use a liquid varnish on and they work great but I've never tried them with the actual paints . Thanks 😜😜

Hi Julie, thank you so much for the love and support❤️ I’m too sure why some ppl were so bothered by the music, they can always just mute it🥴 As far as the brushes, I’m going to assume it does soak up more paint than other brushes, I just pretty much used what I had on hand. I don’t have a lot of experience with painting, I just started doing it a few months ago but I find that I really enjoy it😊

I will check out the 2 different kinds of brushes and see how it goes ...no biggie ..most important is no brush stroke marks for me I just dont like the look. And you are off to a great start with your art I would have never guessed its only been a few months & yes its a great stress reliever too lol. Just have fun with it.
