I am Malaysian and i always complaining about thr traffic jam, hot weather, bad public transportation and etc. However, when i travel to other countries and compare back, it is not that bad actually. In fact need to appreciate more as a developing country we got every facilities like in first world country

As a proud Malaysian ; we have a multi diverse nation and some may agree visiting Malaysia is like visiting China, India and Arab (to some extent). Transport is not at the best but is improving especially within CBD. Except HK and Singapore , almost all other cities required driving. Perhaps you may want to talk about medical. Medical in Malaysia is not bad and comparable to international standard at much affordable cost. To live means housing must be affordable and yes; housing in kl ranging from budget, low cost , mid range and high end. There is no perfect place but only suitable place. For retirement; is all about people , food, weather, medical and good housing.
My parents only speak Cantonese and Mandarin. They don’t speak Malay and English, but they can live in Malaysia peacefully for 75 years.

My grandparents as well came from China. Only speak HAKKA. Not even mandarin. Luckily same clan Hakka from gov department assisted them to adjust n helped their children to be registered as Malaysian back then. Funny part: Becz my 8th aunt (they out of names, they just named her as 8th moi”. In official ic, the gov officers put as LA PAN…. 🤣🤣🤣
Hi, Mario. If you go to Malaysia Borneo or East Malaysia, the situation will be different. East Malaysia is subdivided into 2 regions which is Sabah and Sarawak. This 2 regions is more relaxing compared to West Malaysia. If like islands hopping, hiking mountain and eat cheap seafoods, then Sabah is the right choice. If you like cultures, various foodies, jungle hiking, museums, cheap foods and caves exploring, then Sarawak will be your right choice. Both regions have e-hailing Grab.

Sabah is a really good place to live, if one need not to consider children's education.... It's a place where I was born and raised the first 20 yrs, before returning to HK/mainland for work.
I studied in Vancouver and worked in HKG for more than 9 and 13 years respectively. Relocated back to KUL and more than agreed with you that HK people are more indifferent in compared with Malaysia people. Thumbs up for such a great insights and content here 👍👍

and.... I'm still stuck here in Vancouver almost all my life.... but honestly, I don't miss HK one bit.... like Mario said, HKers in general are either anti-social or a bit arrogant... So, as a family guy, I'm comfortable living a simple life here! ^^

From young our basic value is respecting other races and religions. That’s why many foreigners that come to malaysia felt our warmth and friendliness. 😊😊
As a typical Malaysian, i agree to your POV 100% .

In my opinion Ipoh has the friendliest people in Malaysia. I went there last year and the locals were so willing to share their own stories with you. The chicken and white kopi also tasted good. It's also a friendly place for HKer. The local Chinese will treat you as a friend of them if you speak Cantonese. Maybe I should pay a visit again 🤤🤤
