US lives in a virtual world of its own. All the high salaries in various professions, including even those in the service industry, are extremely high due to high inflation and mostly due to excessive printing of free money by the government. US still has some high end industry but most of it has already left especially manufacturing. US can't even produce its daily necessities for people, so once the US dollar loses its value and status in the world, US will go from heaven to hell and all these high salaries will be gone.
