you should not worry so much about people being interested in content like this it may seem like it is boring but is packed with valuable information on how to scratch build larger objects even for someone like myself who comes from an automotive and wood working background that has been building models on and off for over 30 years i find the information valuable its always nice to see how others go about construction and is an easy way to learn a new way of tackling an imposing construction i really hope you continue this series to the very end not just for my self but for others who are younger to learn and be inspired to attempt large projects like this

Thank you so much for your kind comments! Your words have given me strength. I'll do my best until the end!
When building the pedestal going forward, do you think you might put some metal plates on the inside of the structure like the HG 1/144 has inside of it’s structure? It would make sense to me if I was building something similar to this. I look at this both from an artist and carpenter perspective and I love the details that you have built, sculpted, and scribed into this masterpiece. So don’t be discouraged by those who don’t understand what you’re trying to achieve. Unless they can do it themselves they shouldn’t discriminate against your work. I believe that through talking about this piece with fellow artists and modelers that it can give you new ideas on how to improve your work on this piece and any other piece you might want to do next. Happy building.😊 I look forward to seeing the next step as you progress with this project.

Thank you! That's reassuring. I'm thinking of reinforcing the inside with brass pipes instead of putting iron plates inside. The original metal plate in the kit is too heavy!
