Waseda Setsuryo High School Wind Band Spring Concert 2023, Part 4 Marching Stage, April 23, 2023 From Hisashi Kawaguchi-sensei's speech at the beginning of the stage Today's performance is different from the one we had practiced until March this year. Actually, the 2nd and 3rd year students will leave Japan on May 22 for the International Music Festival (XXIII Festival Internazionale Bande Musicali e Majorettes) in Giulianova, Italy. We are now preparing for the festival. We are still a little out of practice, but we will keep practicing for one more month and hope to win the first prize for sure. Here are some of the pieces we will be performing. Today, we are missing some members. There is a part in the middle of the song where we put down our instruments and dance. In that case, we are short in the number of people who play instruments. So, please understand that the OG will be assisting in that part only. So, marching "Viva Italia"!
