I am an Ethiopian who was raised in the USA for most of my life. I believe women should have equal rights with men. If a man can be a priest, than a woman should be able to be one as well. There is no reason you should deny someone their dream because of their gender if they are able to go through with it. Women should not be shamed for being open about their sex lives, because it is important to be transparent and honest. Love everyone and respect everyone, is doesn't matter if you are black, white, man, or woman. Love everyone and treat everyone equally. I often see lots of sexism towards women in Ethiopia and I find it to be very sad. Ethiopia is a beautiful country, but please be kind to one another Love you Micky, love from California 🙏🏽

This is not human right it’s religious church so you have to know the. Difference between human right and Ethiopian Orthodox Church dogma ok

@ Religions do not have the right to discriminate against women. That is illegal. The church has to follow the laws. They are not above the laws. Human rights govern society and everyone is subject to it

i understand your argument but , as you clearly have seen , many protestants that follow the true gospel say the same thing. Paul clearly forbids women from teaching or becoming pastor. its not us that forbid women from becoming pastors , its the BIBLE . and its not an orthodox thing , Catholics and many protestants believe it too.

@ I understand that. However in the west we don’t really follow the Bible. Many people in the USA are not religious and don’t believe in the Bible. So we put human rights and ethics ahead of religion. However I understand your opinion. It is just very different from what I used to in America
