You know, I never even took notice before this video, but seeing the adult king penguins casually and slowly walking back and forth while the other species were running, made me wonder... Are king penguins really not able to run!? I've seen their chicks run when they sort of get the "zoomies," but I don't think I have ever seen adult king penguins running. So I searched KZbin for it. And the only video that showed them running was the one with the sea lion chasing them. However, they still never run on two legs like the other species do here. Instead, they do that tobogganing thing the whole time they are running for their lives. I guess you could call it "super tobogganing," lol. It makes sense though. Because of their size and how small and close together their legs are, it would be MUCH more difficult for them to run on two legs than it is for the other smaller species. Their legs are really short too, but they are also much farther apart than the king penguin's legs.
