So, I'm pretty sure that those eggs belong to the Trivalve, the companion creature for Below Zero, like the Cuddle Fish in the first game. The egg and the Trivalve look alike, and the Cuddle Fish egg had a transparent layer, as did the eggs you found. That also means you can grow them up, and they will love you forever and ever and ever.

Z1, here is a helpful tip: In the Settings menu, in Accessibility, you can turn on PDA Pause, which automatically freezes everything except you (cold, oxygen, environment, etc.) and I think it would help a lot.

You can put an ion battery in the snowfox. But it renders a normal battery and an empty slot. I find it weird because it only ever has one battery. Another weird thing is that it has two upgrade slots visually, but only one that is usable.

the snowfox uses batteries not power cells if you want to swap to an ion battery just pickup the snowfox put it in your action bar and press r.

oh you have to do the door with the ion cubes, before you create AL-AN's body, cause if you don't you can never access that room, and you get teh teleport pod module once you scan enough precursor artifacts and the tether gun for telepporting back to the Module.

Try entering the portal from the back side, maybe it is a directional bug. Also, there was a music disc on the crates at the bottom of the elevator you found.
