In this video I show you how to save Martha - BOTH times - in Beholder. You're welcome.
Summary:
-Steal up to 2 items per day (no more)
-Steal from, profile and blackmail Jacob before reporting him
-Rent apartment to Al, the Doctor
-Complete family tasks
-Profile Klaus
-Profile Everyone else when you can
-Ask Al about his girlfriend problems
-Speak to Rosa about her niece
-Purchase Apple from trader for 720 dollars
-Steal blue tie from Klaus
-Blackmail everyone with these when they become illegal
-Blackmail Schimmers about their books (then re-learn this info)
-Don't speak to Klaus again (he'll leave)
-Talk to wife about Martha's stupid sickness
-Steal aspirin from Schimmers
Rent apartment to Jones (he has lots of illegal items)
-Rotate these and blackmail everyone (once per item)
-Talk to Jones about canned food
-Sell canned food to Trader
-Speak to Al about Martha's (still stupid) sickness
-Bribe impostor Sarah for 5000
-Purchase medicine from Al
-Martha gets sick again
-Keep blackmailing

Thanks for the tutorial! Helped me make and save lods of emone for Martha. As much as I would like a revision for the latest changes, its going to be a hassle considering the effort you made to this video, but nevertheless: Blackmail letters give you 2k rather than 1k per tenant Standard medicine from Allosius are 15k rather than 20k Another method of gaining income is to sell ALL of the reported tenant's belongings. There is a small box found by the door of the room after the tenant has been removed by the guards. This box will disappear if you repair the room and lose all the free money you can gain from. This also helps with certain future events, i.e. poisons for "reasons"

No they don't. You must have been playing on Trainee mode which makes Martha's treatment cheaper and increases the blackmail pay.

Pro tip after you move in the doctor don't call the ministry. There is no time limit for this task and martha won't get sick until after this task is complete. Take your time and plant illegal items and black mail everyone (except the schumers) profile everyone as well to maximize profit also move the sailor in another room (he has alot of items that would eventually be worth alot). If you do this correct you would have 30k b4 calling the ministry

I'm my first playthrough everyone died faster than you can say "what the hell" Martha died bc the doc moved out and I couldn't afford her medicine, Anna got trampled in a riot, I paid her hospital bill but she died anyway, meanwhile I didn't have enough money to help Patrick escape the country and he participated in bank heist and was shot by police. This all happened in... I think a week...

There’s another easy way to make easy cash, you can buy the security cameras and sell them to the trader. The low quality camera will sell at a good 150, the medium quality one will sell at 250 and the highest quality will sell at 500. You can still balance out the cameras and save some for stalking- I mean “watching” people. Just adding food for thought.

I am late to this game and playing it on wussy trainee level. Still needed many...many... (MANY) attempts to get this right. There's another way to get the Schimmers out though but again it comes down to timing. If you DO take the deal to the trader, you get ripped off. So you only give half the money back to good old Jones...which he's not happy about. He asks for a way to pay him back before he leaves. The Schimmers want to leave. Jonas has access to a boat. You figure it out. It has consequences. You have to deal with the archivist to get the Schimmers lost papers and he dobs you in later for a $3,000 fine...but..importantly...the Schimmers are not poor and are very, very (ka-ching!) grateful for getting them out on the boat. But then they both wind up dead when the boat sinks. Hey ho. No one mentions if Jones makes it out. He probably does...floats away on his collection of illegal rubber ducks... EXCELLENT guide nonetheless...do I detect an Irish twang in there?

Btw you can also save some money by not buying the aspirin for martha cuz it will make no difference anyway and also stealing things that are illegal or will become illegal really helps. I only had to blackmail jacob once and jones twice. And if you are gonna buy an apple make it a green apple cuz martha needs one later on.

Did you figure it out? There's a storyline arc that will give you the final medicine for no money...so you can save Martha for free (woohoo!) but it involves protecting a terrorist (*koff* freedom fighter *koff*) who causes unrest...just as Anna is on the way to the shops and guess what...she gets caught in the stampede and dies. I can't find a way that gets you the medicine for free AND doesn't involve mum dying. Trust me, if you thought little Anna carking it was distressing...wait til you see her weeping in the street over the spot where her mum died... As to cruise tickets...I let Al die (so sue me, I thought "Sarah" was on the straight and narrow)...but you can steal the tickets or collect them from her belongings when you dob her in to the cops...

you don´t need pay 15000 for this It's only you back to the conclusion of these quests until you get to part of the new tomorrow and they give you the remedy for free you can use the 15,000 to save patrick and get the best final

for the martha medicine, you can wait as much as you can so when your wife ask for it dalton will have a quest ready for you and he would give you the medicine as exchange. instead of wasting another 15k there is another guy that can give you the medicine but i think with him it wouldd be too late to save her.
