So... What's hilarious about Dio's stand (at least how I choose to interpret it) is that when he met Polnareff on the stairs, he had to stop time, run down and grab Polnareff, set Polnareff down a few steps, then rush back to where he was at the top of the stairs. Dio did all of that just to mess with Polnareff's head, and I find the visual of that endlessly amusing!

It's just so extra, so powerful, so hype. Fucking Great Also, the number of emotions that appear at the 9:21 mark is amazing. Only jojo makes have shock worry fear sadness and laughter so quick 14:59 that's what make Dio so unique. He is the biggest asshole on earth, but he is so dedicated to it that its refreshing

Especially if gore is the reason people love this show so much. My point was that any show can be violent. You don't need a good story or characters or music or anything. So a show being violent is a strange reason to think its amazing IMO. I'm sure JoJo's has other merits. It's way too popular for just violence to be the reason
