The elephant in the room is how to partition the Linux server that Zabbix runs on. E.G. what does it need in /usr /var, and /home etc.? That is especially important with regard to VMs which is where things run these days. You don't want to waste space, you want to have enough, and you want to know how much space you should budget. Zabbix says to only use the appliances to prototype it so then I take from that that it is a tiny version that is inadequate so I can't look at that for a model.

Hi, Im configuring a zabbix server in a Linux CentOs8 that is running on a Vmware. This virtual machine is running on a server that has 3 physicals Adapters. Each physical adapter has it own IP segment like bellow: Adpt1 10.188.127.250/24 Adpt2 10.188.160.250/24 Adpt3 10.188.130.250/20 The virtual machine has IP like bellow: ens160 10.188.127.251/24 ens161 10.188.160.251/24 ens254 10.188.130.251/20 Problem: Just Adpt1 and ens160 is working. If I change the IP segment of ens160 to the others segment it works. But I need each adapter communicate separately. In VMware settings all adapter were created and marked as bridge. Please help I'm using the VMware Workstation 16

Which operating system is best for Zabbix Ubuntu or Centos 7? I have Zabbix running on Ubuntu, but I just learning how to setup Zabbix. What is the difference between Ubuntu and Centos 7? I am getting ready to load Zabbix for a production Network.
