Couple extra tips I learned along the way: 1. Cloudy days use fishy baits like (Krill/Crab), Sunny Days use strawberries/citrus 2. I've started skipping the day with the two peaks as it was such slow fishing 3. Had a few people tell me groundbaits etc don't work, so I stopped using them altogether and haven't noticed much of a difference. 4. Im not a pro at this game just wanna share you guys my setups and what I use to make money/level happy fishing :)

Great guide, worked good. Good post St Joaquim farming. I found the 14mm popup pellets in hallibut for cloudy and pineapple for sunny works just aswell for unis och trophies. They are cheaper also.

Hello I'm in the UK now farming carp. I already found some spots. I have experimenting spod and what I see is that with chum I fill the basket a little faster and get 1 to 2 more unique carp. My opinion is that it doesn't pay. Because we spend a lot of money on chum material. Another tip is to buy only 2 carp rods and two heavy chaser end game setup and fishing with those 2 carp rods with boilies and the 2 bottom rod with corn and peas has been working very well and we spend less money. As you say the days whith two pikes are very slow its better catch 2000 in fish and go to the next day. Thanks for the tips you've been giving. Another Great guide Zabby !! Just took my first trip to Willow lake, followed your guide 100% and within 30 mins i had 4 Uni's and tons of trophy Largest one a Uni Mirror carp at 26 kg and a 27 kg Ghost carp. My 300 kg keepnet full at 8:40 am Keep up the good work. Grinding to lvl 54 lol

zabbs,im going weeping willows to finish up a couple of missions,one is i need to catch a northern pike and chub and other need to catch a hybrid carp,for the pike a 13 lb setup

Decided to pay for a week in advance. I made back my money for the entire week on the first day. Caught 9 Uni, 11 Trophies and wasn't even done with peak time. Cash was 83k don't remember the XP but it was amazing, plus it was so much fun. I figured out how to create recipes, Adding aroma seems to help a bit. I believe the bite rate does increase with the Spod. Thanks for your videos. Hope to see you on twitch

Definitely does. When I didn't use it bc I thought it was a waste of money I caught 1-2 uni per days max. Now with spod and groundbait my record on big peak cloudy was 9 unis, mirror and leather new pb, grass carp pb.

Hi Zabby! First of all thank you for your videos! I'm learning a lot about this game now, thanks to you! But, I've few questions for you: 1- Is it possible to repair rods and reels you buy with the DLC? 2- Are DLC's item permanent or do they have a fixed time? 3- Do rods and reels from DLC have a level or is it possible to equip them once you bought them? 4- Could you raccomend a good DLC? 1. Yes you can repair DLC rods/reels 2. DLC items are permanent but the places it opens aren't 3. You can equip the DLC items instantly regardless of level 4. Bass boat one is handy same with the sports bottom rod one. Mainly look for one that gives you a bigger keepnet because thats the most important thing.

One more thing, you can sell the DLC items for baitcoins once you unlock the comparable rod/reel to it

#8/0 hooks are much more effective at catching uni's than #6/0. This setup is good, but 3 rods is actually better than 4 using the bigger hooks. During a peak, you can easily be hooked up with a trophy or a uni almost constantly without missing fish.

I noticed a lot of players between level 50-55 are broke. What happens at level 50 that costs so much money? I'm 49 and I have a little over a million. I know at level 50 a ton of stuff unlocks in the shop. What will I need to get?

Actually I just went today and I must say it is comparable to michigan muskies in terms of bite rate, got 2 30kg unis in within 30 minutes irl. I think you should definitely give it another go, bring 2 brutus and vegetables, very short leader for the bighead and silver, and bottom/carp rod for other carps. Fish near the small island left of Lake in a lake spawn, or go right from Field of gold for the unis. I prefer the second spot bcs there are more species there, faster bite rate and unis. Got 1000+ xp for the big fish too dunno why this lake got so much hate xD

I've never fished carp in real life, but I just went Weeping Willow in the game for the first time and immediately got into a 49+lb Unique Common Carp. Like a $2500 fish. I'm gonna be a carp guy for a minute. $$$

Your line is too heavy for that combo. Your tackle is gonna damage faster.

@@Zabby Understandable. Just sayin bc some people follow these videos blindly and will get the exact same setup. There's no advantage to using too heavy line as you're limited by the strength of the drag on your reel. It's more expensive, spooks more fish, lessens xp and damages rod and reel faster. Although I totally agree that the effect will be small in this setup. I stop being a wise ass now. Thanks for your videos btw!

@@rackelhahn8645 wrong on one account if the max drag is less then the max line weight of the rod heavier line won't damage the rod more. lets say you have a 40 lb max line weight rod, a 38 lb max drag weight reel. and a 44 lb test line the max force applied to your rod would only be 38 lbs. now yes with this set up the reel would damage more then the line.
