Kevin Von Erich, a professional wrestler from the famous pro wrestling family back in the day, The Von Erichs, which is what the movie is about. His brothers are being played by Jeremy Allen White (The Bear) and Harris Dickinson (Triangle of Sadness). It'll probably be amazing, honestly. @@marieneu264

It was honestly surprising for me. I knew they worked together on 17 Again, but I never thought they'd end up as such good friends. It's one thing for actors to keep in touch with one another, but one wanting the other to play them in their own biopic? Zac must've impressed the hell outta Matthew Perry, or they were just that close, or both. Either way, it's good to know that Zac held Matthew in such high esteem.

Matthew said during the promotion of his book that he did call Efron and offered him the role on his biopic and he had said no. Personally i think he looks nothing like Perry when he was younger. I dont think anybody in hollywood does yet if that movie is ever mad i would go for somebody with more acting skills to portray both the funny side and the dramatic shit that was going on on the personal level.

Zac is actually a good actor. I had no idea how talented he was until I saw him play Ted Bundy in that netflix show. He blew me away.

I agree; you don’t look at Zac and think of Perry. Or even someone who would be typecast to play roles like Chandler Bing. Zac is a great actor; physically he’s just not the right choice for detailed storytelling. (Personally I think he looks more like Matt LeBlanc than Perry)

I don’t like him for Matthew Perry. They didn’t match each other at all. At least get a guy who looks like him. There are many many many talented people out there in the world. I didn’t like them paired up in 17 again and I’m not really a zac E fan. He’s too pretty and too short really. I think we all like perry more cuz he is naturally funny and has the average Joe look but I think perry probably wanted to think of himself as wanting to look more like zac cuz he attracts the ladies faster. When in truth it works for a hot second until the hottie opens his mouth and he’s no Matthew Perry. Girls want Matthew Perry. I really don’t want him to play his role even though Perry thought he would be s good idea. It’s just not him of even close to him. It’s zac being zac period. I heard he was good in the serial killer movie of Ted bundy. Zac efron is way to short to play Matthew Perry. And it isn’t fair to the rest of the cast memenercunless he wears heels. That means everyone else had to be casted shorter just for him which is probdbly a big problem for his parts. He’s 5’8 Matthew Perry is 6 foot big difference. And I just don’t think he has what it takes to play perry. Again he’s too pretty and not enough depth. There’s a lot of other people who can play him one who is his height.
