Trae with Zachary will be a good combo. He fits well w Trae and can fill out his weaknesses on defense and size matchups, but adds an additional three point threat to the offense. Trae should be quite happy.

Can you put this stat line in perspective of the competition he played in. LNB and Eurocoupe are competitions against men not kids that are less than 20 on average. I'm sure he thought Luka was overrated too :D Of course, in a normal draft he would probably go lower, but in this field a top 5 is very normal for his talent.

This is such an American centered view here. I am not sure those guys even looked at the scout reports. LNB is a tough competition, but above all, ZR performed very well in the Eurocoupe (made the final, was elect best young player), which is great testament to his talent..

People have to understand that the Hawks have Onyeka Okungwu so we honestly don’t need another big. This means I believe that Clint Capela will be traded, Onyeka finally starts, and Hunter is likely gone as well. Plus, the Hawks have to decided whether to keep Trae or Dejounte, gotta trade one of them. I’m cool with Risacher as the pick and love happy he brings not only his offensive game, but his defensive ability as well which Atlanta desperately needs.

@@gphillimoShould be. This was a weird class though…it was more of a matter of ceiling vs potential. Guys like Buzelis and Williams prob have higher ceilings, but Zach is a better player now and he’s also only 19 himself. I don’t love the pick honestly. Reminds me a lot of Bargnani pick in ‘06. He was solid in Toronto, but nothing more than that. Joe Smith in 90s is another ex. I like Sarr a little better. He reminds me of mix of Stoudemire/JJJ. Still not an ideal #1 pick. I think guys like Sheppard and Clingan will be good, but not great pros. A lot of good role players in mid-late 1st. That’s where value was imo

After watching the Celtics win a Championship, you have to remember the league is a copy cat league. They have two 3 & D wings that they’ve built around for years in Tatum and Brown… With Zacch being 19 and Jalen Johnson being 22, I think they view this tandem as the next version of the Celtics. If so, allow one more season of Trae and Murray and blow it up next draft where we’ll have value to jump back in the 1st round. If I’m GM right now, I’m trying to figure out who will be a lottery pick to trade Trae Or Murray
