I just got this guitar and honestly, it is one of the nicest guitars I now own. Out of the box it was setup perfect,. Action and intonation was dead on and I haven’t experienced any tuning issues. The finish is absolutely amazing and sound, well it was also amazing. I own some high end Gibsons and Fenders, but this Guitar ranks right up there with them. Thanks to Zach Myers and PRS to create such a fantastic guitar.

I've had mine in Tobacco Sunburst for roughly a month and in the 16 or so years of playing, this is probably the most fun and exciting guitar I've owned and played! Just did put some Amber lampshades on it to replace the clear knobs but this guitar, well it captures the vintage vibe but it's also got that PRS style to it. Really like the vibe and it feels like a guitar that costs more. Thanks Zach Myers and Paul Reed Smith!

I have one of these for over a year and a half now and it's caused me to sell three other guitars because I noticed after a year that I never played them anymore and didn't want to. I have upgraded the pickups to alnico II chrome covered and all the plastic bits to black and I've upgraded the tuners to gotoh vintage licking, and I've put in an all American wiring harness as well. all-in-all I've spent just a smidge over $1000 but it's completely customized to my liking. couldn't do that with an American PRS. basically I changed everything out but the wood for upgraded American parts. it's firggin' sweet!

Add some Dimarzio 36th Anniversary pickups and it would sound great.

This is a fantastic guitar that outshines many others costing 2-3 times as much. It's a great platform for upgrading but absolutely doesn't NEED it. ALSO- ZM states in this video that the bridge pup is hotter than the normal SE245 pups and that the bridge is a USA model... this is not correct. A PRS rep confirmed that these guitars are equipped with standard SE parts.

If u look on the pros website it says the bridge is PRS Adjustable Stoptail. If u check the other se models they have PRS designed Stoptail on them. I think the rep u spoke to might have been thinking of the older zach Myer model

I spoke to a PRS rep a few days ago about this and this was his reply: The bridge itself is US, but the studs on the ZM are metric. Thanks for writing, I hope that helps.

I have had mine for a week and absolutely love it! I have changed the strings and replaced the turners with Gotoh vintage locking turners so they look almost the same as the originals. The thicker neck I love so much better than my Squier Telecaster and I find it easier to play.

I bought my Zach Meyers PRS about a month ago. It plays really well but it wouldn't stay in tune. That was driving me crazy, so, I replaced the tuners with a set of locking tuners. To do so, I had to file out the holes for the wider diameter shaft of the new locking tuners. The guitar now stays in tune after I play it for a short time. The nut is next. Overall the guitar is made well, and now plays much better. If you purchase one, be sure to read the flyers that come with the guitar and especially read up on checking and adjusting the neck the PRS folks recommend out of the box from the factory. My ZM PRS neck had a slight bow, which the PRS folks seem to think is normal and has to be adjusted out of the box. Be advised too that you're not getting a high end PRS WITH THIS GUITAR, so don't expect the same quality.

Ok Zachy, I love this. My favorite guitar was a Schecter C1 SH, which i had to part with. I tried getting another, but it just didn't have the tone or quality of the early one I had. I can hear a lot of what I liked in this guitar, so you sold me on this. I'll probably get one. Thanks, these are awesome guitars.

It's the exact same guitar he uses.there are no differences. You can upgrade the pots and pickups and this thing sounds amazing.
