I get it Zach, When I was 15 I was hit by car while walking to school that shattered my pelvis and broke my right foot and I was put at fault for getting hit and note she was doing 65 in a 35 school zone. I can't wait to see the other one of Tony that you Austin said was better. Cams' looked like he was ready and able to take on the evil, all the evil. Chris's was like a romance novel pic for an elven story. Zachs' I have no words, turned out gloriously. Austins' looked like a tough Humphrey Bogart from the future kicking a**. My daughter is a paramedic in the UK, she went to university and studied for three years to take the role and has to continue learning every year. Blue light driving is the norm here. I will say if you get a dash came make sure it is able to capture a good amount around your vehicle. We got a dash cam and not long after that, we were hit in a way that it was not caught on the dash cam. We had been coming out of a parking spot and the person who was going at least 30 miles an hour in the parking lot blew threw the stop sign and slammed into us so hard it snapped the tie rod. Our old insurance said that it was our fault because we were not paying attention when in reality it was the other person speeding through the parking lot and past the stop sign, one second no one was coming and the next we were slammed into.

I just had an ambulance ride last week too. I was barfing the night before, got up to pee and on my return to bed passed out and fell down the stairs. Hurt neck and shoulder and lots of bruises…In an ambulance there is only one paramedic who has training. The rest are EMTs which don’t require much training. #brake

I was an emt-b / firefighter. There's a mandatory class you have to take that's a few months but that's pretty much it to be an emt-b 😅 firefighters just go again to a few month class, and are basically interns for a few months then told to go do it lol

boy of boy. A family member just experienced the exact same thing. The other driver had a suspended license and was speeding around a truck. Family member was a LD driver and due to insurance liability they lost their job. A whole lot of trauma................... They too were ticketed and the cop felt bad. Actually called family to let them know about the suspended license. So very sorry Zach.

Roads are Crazy. Where we live, we're on a road that comes into a Main road, but on the INSIDE of the turn there. So it's a hope and a prayer that no one is flying by on that road when you turn onto it... because it's on a Hill, Inside a Turn... so Line of sight is HORRIBLE ... We want to move because some days its a seat clincher. Glad Zach and his family are doing alright ♥ Those AI pics were AMAZING!!!! My ambulance ride was a nice one. The guy I had was nice at least. I was in a AtV accident, (it flipped back, rolling on me. I was riding b*tch seat) ... and dislocated my hip. I couldn't move my knee a few inches down from my chest without PAIN! hitting.... riding out of the woods, b*tch seat on a different AtV was awful lol. So I got an expensive ambulance ride. No lights or sirens because was there... Just pain. The guy though was giving medicines thru IV to try and help. Guy I knew (brother from another mother) was a volunteer fire fighter, so knew the guy and was able to listen in on the Radio and told my parents about it (i wasn't even 18 yet lol) They were obviously scared about it... But i was fine otherwise. Got some crutches and early dismissal privileges the rest of Senior year of High-school so.... worth it? lol Maybe the Rock will see this podcast episode and give a surprise visit or something... I'll cross my fingers and toes for it lol.

Paramedics and EMTs are completely different. Normally the people in the ambulances are EMTs, however, there needs to be at least one paramedic there, they are either with the firefighters or they are on the rig with the EMTs. EMTs essentially receive the same training as LVNs (not exact training but a similar amount) essentially 165 hours or so of training. However, a paramedic needs 1-2 years of training. My ex husband was a EMT.
