The one thing you didn't touch on is how the plot makes zero sense with Darkseid being the original attacker of earth. Zero. In 2017 version, SW attacks and loses, he's then exiled and only when the motherbox calls him back does he return and he sees this as a way to get back in DS's good books. This makes sense.m, it's not the best plot, but at least logically works. In the Snyder Cut Darkseid attacks earth, finds the Anti-Life Equation (the one thing he wants more than anything in the universe), loses the motherboxes when he easily gets defeated, and just leaves for 2,000+ years? The fact that people in good faith argue that he "forgot" where earth was after his defeat shows how bad this change was for the plot. First off, it makes Darkseid look like a chump and secondly, it makes the story way worse.

If Darkseid is the biggest bad in the Universe, why would he not keep tabs on the planet where he not only left his three Mother Boxes, but also has the Anti-Life Equation? He's known for 2000 years that the _only_ planet that matters is earth. He could have come back 150 years ago and easily conquered it....but instead he did nothing? Why? Well, it's becausee Snyder decided to put Darkseid in those scenes because he thought it'd be cool and forget that it totally destroys thee plot of the move. None of it makes any sense, and defending it just makes you look like an irrational fanboy. This is the originall "Kang beaten by ants" problem. Darkseid _easily_ get beaten then is so scared he never comes back, how are we supposed to believe he's a serious threat?

Final thoughts on the DC universe :The DC universe is like when you get all the ingredients to make a cake and watch a professional make the cake with the same ingredients and then you try it and it just looks like shit. Everything was there for something good ,but it just not executed well.

I like Doom Patrol. It has a lot of interesting ideas, great characters, humor. It's really off the wall at times in ways I can appreciate. On the other hand, it also seems like every character has borderline personality disorder and they do nothing but have the most stupid, childish, irrational, pointless arguments. I'm at the last half of the last season and I'm not sure I'm going to finish it. Edit: I shouldn't abbreviate Doom Patrol to DP in the first sentence.

Why? What good was there in the DCEU? Wonder Woman's theme kicks ass. But Wonder Woman 2 sucked. Flash was kinda funny but his movie sucked. Aquaman (the character) was kinda funny in Justice League but Aquaman 2 sucked. Shazam (the movie) was kinda cute. Kinda funny, but Shazam 2 sucked. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was awful garbage. Superman sucked in every movie he was in. DCEU, as a whole, was barely a step up from Ryan Reynold's Green Lantern.

Its so odd because this version IS GOOD...and Id say an edited version would be GREAT/FANTASTIC...but instead of just editing some of the more meandering moments and trimming the movie dowm to like a couple hours they decided to let Joss Weadon make a MUCH WORSE movie...so were left with a movie that still needs editing...and its just so odd..most movies are too long and the studios hire a regular editor and they just shorten it and delete unnecessary scenes to create a good pace...thats all Snyder needed...I bet 300 was five hours before it got edited down too but they didn't hire someone to rewrite the whole thing

They WBD have lost 55% of the company value in 18 months. 30% of that since Gunn game in a burned it to the ground. Their stock price is down this week by 10% and they are 60+% chance of bankruptcy. Listen I hope you and others enjoy Gunns vision but I’m done. I loved MOS, BVS UE and ZSJL and if he ever gets to conclude his story on Netflix I will be there with bells on. But I won’t give WBD or Gunn a penny towards the DC box office. Truly hope others enjoy it!

You can say what you want that’s your right but Gunn has had a massive impact on DC box office this year. When you come in a say nothing matters; why in gods name would people pay to go to see it. They should have waited and then announced the end after movie slate was done. WBD are in serious financial difficulties at the moment and this years box office has lost them insane money. Barbie was good and had a good box office but Mattel own 50% of That IP so get 50% of the profit. I have been trashed and slammed for liking what we got with MOS, BVS Ultimate Edition only (theatrical was not good) and the Synder cut. I’m never going to attack anyone for liking something I don’t, I generally hope like I say you and others enjoy Gunns vision. 👍👍
