Absolutely no need for apologies......once upon a time it was viewed as being a weakness for a guy to even admit they had feelings, let alone let them show. Thank God those days are gone. I am nearing 60 years old, but even as a youngster I knew there was something wrong pretending to be too tough to shed a tear. In my mind, it is more an act of courage. oh my gosh. I can so relate to you. I just miss my grampa so darn much even though he's veen gone for 6 years now also due to cancer. It was a hard blow knowing that he was at a late stage by the time we knew he even had one back then and no matter what treatment we had him take in the end he still didn't make it and I just want to talk to him even just once. But I know he's in a better place and I know that yours is too. Stay strong and be happy because you are his legacy and he wouldn't wanna leave behind sadness. 😉

I had a teacher I was very close with and she died last week after months of suffering from breast cancer. At least now, my teacher and your grandpa are in somewhere where God can tell them how special they are. my father passed away in 2012 with pancreatic cancer. he was admitted on july 21 then we found out that he had cancer on july 26 (and that he was dying already) then went with the Lord on july 31. i understood why he was gone but the thought of never hearing his laughter, his voice, never hug him or tell him i love him again - is the hardest thing. until now i still cry.
