Basically, the Casper Flip and Hospital flip are the same trick done in two styles. But the best explanation I've heard is that a hospital flip is when it's all in the front foot, like your homie, and the casper flip you need to get your back foot over the tail before you bring it back. After watching the whole video edit ~ valiant effort dude, thanks for putting in all the extra clips and talky bits at the end. It's winter here so kind of skating through you and Dan 😅

Sick trick it's like something from the skate games. It wanted togo backside nose blunt slide quite a few times. All i can think of is super tight venture trucks and popping with the back foot right on the edge of heel side 90's style. It was really interesting hearing your thought process on the trick like it was Dan's on the am contest the other week.

I feel like this trick is meant for a handrail not a ledge. That would put your body weight in the right position and ensure that you actually slide. Maybe find a cozy lil rail and give a few tries to see if it's any bit more possible.

like how you do a regular Caspers and do half flip and keep your foot under. then u just pull the board back toward you with your foot hooked under. it's just like how you do a regular Casper in the beginning of the flip. and dont even worry about your back foot touching the board in the flip part. that' way is a hospital flip thats how I always done them. casper flip your back foot helps bring the board back along with your front foot hooking it back. hospital is all front foot and your back foot never touches the board. I think hospital flips are easier. ya he was doing hospital flips.
@ConsciousSharing2 жыл бұрын
casper flip is when you use your backfoot as well as your front foot and hospital flip is just frontfoot.

Bro your pop is insane now. By the forth day you were over popping the keen ledge. Also you need to push your front 3 shuv forward like your 3 shuv so it hits the front foot. Side note now that you've been doing this for a week straight, I bet you could roast front shuvs into back grinds on tall ass bump to ledges!!

What I'm noticing with the attempts is that your shoulders are slightly turned away from the ledge and when you lock in the board goes into like a bs overcrook. I think that left pressed wheel on the overcrook is what stopped it from grinding on the ones you locked into. Maybe approach it more like a you're good lock into a crook? 🤷♂️ Either way huge props for even trying this ridiculous trick lol.

Lofty bump to bench. So the whole time your rising the 3shuv is workin. Then you catch it high on on somethin higher. your dowforce isn't so bad. Instead on landin down on it manipulating contact. Plus you'll be prolly hauling ass its a grind get out not on a ledge you have play around.
