First time I’ve actually hardcore agreed with Zach. If you all commit to the same plan, even if it’s not the best plan, you can still come out on top. Not playing together in high tier ranked and especially in comp results in the whole squad wiped.

This is absolutely no offense to Mac but imo knoqd was a miles better fit for this team. Both Mac and naughty are playmakers and it just doesnt work at this level when you have 3 guys each doing their own thing. Its not even just the plays that got them killed but several times you see both mac and naughty over-extending to chase kills while zach is there pleading for them to slow down and hold the power spot. If there was one guy actually listening to zach they probably do much better in that first game and win the second. This is the exact reason why imo reps is tsms most important player. He is cracked yes but if hals call is to sit and stare at a spot from your biggest threat thats what reps will do.

I think Alb needs to find a team where he is IGL. He thinks he can't, but he has ideas and his playstyle is too rogue sometimes. It seems like he wants to make plays instead of being micromanaged all the time. He's a great player, but that tendency leads to not being on the same page as the team. Zach is getting better as a leader, it just sucks when you're supposed to be calling the shots and nobody listens. Naughty tends to follow Alb in those hectic situations. He also is prone to chasing plays and extending because of his confidence, which can be a double edged sword. Maybe its cuz Alb is taking a risk and needs the support while Zach is trying to stabilize in safety, his chain of priority is to cover the risk instead of regrouping. He's stuck in the middle of listening to Zach at the expense of not backing up Alb when he asks for it.

Definitely part of why he was gone from TSM. Alb is undeniably too rogue and makes calls for himself, that led to spat with Hal which he opened up about because they both wanted to be IGL. But I feel that someone like Alb who is more so a “performer” than a team player, and decides to try out IGL, will end up like the team of Wigg, Apryze and Timmy or Shiv’s team when they tried ALGS. And, while no offence here is intended, I’m not sure if his mental could take it since he’s had to take more than one break because of it. He just needs to accept that he’s got to be micro-managed, as Hal does for Reps and Verhulst

@@kd6-3.78 Those are really good points. It’s not like C9 sucks either. They were one of the teams to beat going into LAN. It’s just that they can be so inconsistent. Alb has shown he can be lead, on both TSM and C9, when he allows it. But other times he does his own thing and it’s very inconsistent. I was bummed for Wigg not getting a real chance to compete because he’s so passionate about the game. Apryze was good, but Timmy let the star power get to his head. He was taking time off, missing games, and not following through with his commitment. When he did play, he was so cocky and making his own plays, arguing with Wigg on calls and such. It was hard to watch those streams. Guys like Alb and Timmy, I’m sure there’s more, act like the kind of guys who never played team sports or did team based activities in high school. Don’t know how to set the ego aside in order to win.

Nah I feel like it was a miscommunication between Mac and Zach. Zach slid onto a rock with his bow out to get angles on the team on their left. He called out "this rock is so good" but I think he put too much emphasis on that callout and Zach interpreted it as a "move to me now I have a safe spot" callout and without hesitating reacts to the callout and crosses to him. Then Naughty calls out they're already swinging, Zach doubles back quickly and gets beamed on the cross and realizes they're going to die because they have no cover anymore and he was forced to use his bubble. They didn't want to take the fight, so they went back to the rock Mac was on and got naded hella. I don't think anybody made a wrong play here just maybe Mac doesn't call that out with such emphasis

I dont have any insight in how they built up their coms ofc but I would also be a bit confused exactly what to do if my IGL just said "its a team underneath" over and over in that situation. If he wanted to hold that cover, wouldnt it be better to repeat that instead? Never heard him say "hold here", "back up" or "slow down" eithe. Also, why would Albralelie run on the left side of the cover at 5:45 ? =) But yeah; it seems like Albra get a bit bloodthirsty and tunnel vision in high action situations.
