Went to the Stockholm concert yesterday and it was beyond anything I had ever expected. Such a great performer and in between songs he was cracking jokes and connecting with the audience. Amazing artist and great guy. I really hope that he can become a leading artist in the U.S/ western pop scene in the near future- he definitely has the potential as a singer, performer and songwriter, plus he spreads a great message. And thank you for a great interview as always :))

I love Eric and this is a great interview. Why did they only name female artists when they talked about writing about their ex. Man do it all the time too. Yesterday evening I was in Milan for the only date of his tour here in Italy. I was completely blessed because I didn't have the ticket since saturday afternoon. Then, thanks to the instagram page of the Eric Nam Italy I found a girl that's didn't have the possibility to go to the concert anymore. And so in half an hour I bought the ticket. And the day after, yesterday, I sayed bye to all my family and drove for 2 hours all alone to be in Milan. This is the better thing I have done in years. The show was sooooo great, and I sang and danced and shouted so much. The most beautiful experience of the last years. Eric please please please come back to Italy as soon as possible. In the meanwhile I'll enjoy your music and the new episodes of your My Mindset. Good job.... love

olivia said several times that the specifics of who her songs were ab never mattered. she talked so much ab how her songwriting really helped her articulate all the feelings of heartbreak and loneliness. she’d write them while crying on her bedroom floor ! so, idk why they think she wrote an album to “come after someone” and that she did quite well by doing THAT. people of many ages resonated and listened to her songs because it was honest, vulnerable and made them feel less alone. she did WELL bc people cared ab the words she wrote, not rlly on who those words were for, although many toxic people did. she wrote an album ab her experiences and turned her heartbreak into something beautiful. this narrative is so untrue and for him to say all these things is weird after praising her album. i hope this is all a misunderstanding

i'm not sure what you mean but i listened to the entire interview and the only time he mentioned olivia is just to say that they went to the same school. he didn't imply that olivia wrote anything to come after anyone, or anything of that sort, really. he was just talking about his own perspective when he's writing songs about the people who's been in his life. so perhaps this is all a huge misunderstanding.

Personally not a fan of Eric Nam's voice or music, but really respect the guy as a person. He answered it perfectly, but his stuff is in English because he's American. It's that simple. He's had his career in Korea. It makes sense he wants to explore his home market.
