I went to their show on the Neotheatre tour having only heard one song because my friend was a huge fan of theirs and I wanted to go with. It was honestly one of the coolest concerts I’ve ever been to. I only knew the chorus of one song so I was just in aw of the technical aspect of the show and was surprised over and over by the lyrics of each song

I was watching a streamer playing a mobile game and in the background they were playing "break my face" I really liked how it sounded so I figured out who made the song and listened to the rest of their songs and even since I've loved them as artists and they're my favorite band now, I also went to their Houston TX concert and it was truly something new and amazing

I shortened my thought. My generation had Weezer, Green Day, Metallica, DMB, Linkin Park, Live, etc. There was no "core" sound or definition for pop music because none of these concerts were the same but they were all awesome. I don't want to down a band on your site but I loved the Pilots when they came out. I thought, finally, something original and off this sheet of bubblegum pop we've been stuck on for years. I'm telling you now what I wish I could have told them. Stay away from the menagerie of people that want to make money off of you. It shows when you let them into your band. When you're iconic like the bands I named you're set for life and you're a piece of history. Those bands still make money. I think you'll blow up to a Pilots size following and to be true I think Josh and Tyler will figure this out but you guys don't make the mistake to begin with of letting money people tell you what to do with your band. I'm sure Rivers covered this with you but, just to reiterate. Mad love to weezer. I still watch "say it aint so" probably once a month or so on youtube. Be diff, be iconic, have your own sound and define pop don't let pop define you. See you Nov 1 at the Ritz. Raleighwood.
