@rachelpinkrox, I don't know about that. They seem to be doing ok as solo artists. ALL of them have solo albums out. That's pretty rare for ALL members of a boy band to be doing well solo. In fact, I don't think it's ever happened before. N'SNYC? Other than JTL and Lance Bass (who isn't really successful as a soloist these days), 98' fell off the face of the earth. Not even all members of the boy band that started it all: NKOTB have found solo success, other than Joey McIntyre and Jordan Knight a little bit. Ronan Keating was the only member of Boy Zone to really make it solo. Even Take That have never really been soloists (Robbie Williams being the sole member who broke away and made it as a solo srtist). The 1D boys are kind of breaking the mold here, which I think is great. They may not have as much GLOBAL success as soloists as they did as 1D, but they're getting plenty of exposure with their solo material. I've heard them ALL played on the radio in the US a LOT (and the US is a major radio market) Zayn first, then Harry, Liam and Louis at roughly the same time, and Niall is currently blowing up here; I hear "Slow Hands" playing at LEAST 2-3 times daily.

This is by far my favorite Niall 's interview. And mainly because of Zach. Most of the interviews they just seemed interesting only about what Niall thinks of Harry's album or 1D reunion like they didn't actually want to know about Niall's song or the process of making his album but this interview did ask him that and genuinely want to know about him and for that I really like this Zach guy! A bit bittersweet hearing that in the year 2022, because they are actually doing quite well, especially Harry, toping charts like 1D once was, and almost everybody have toped some charts at some point. Which is a great thing, I love that for them, so proud of them and well deserved, but also it kinda means 1D getting together is further and further away from reality. I mean again, I love that they are doing different things, they seems happy, but maybe they could do like an interview together or sing a few songs every couple of years or sth, you know? I'm not expecting like full blown 1D tour anymore, I'll take what I can get. Also, Niall, absolute king and sweetest person ever, can't wait for his 3rd album. 😭

Honestly Niall seems like such a genuine guy. I’d love to have a conversation with him about music. I think he’d have a lot of interesting stories and ideas to share, and I also feel as though he’s very wise, having had so many life experiences and like Zach mentioned, staying grounded. His album is great and I can’t wait to see more of Nialls work in the future as a solo artist or with 1D.

the more I hear them talk the more I find it hard to believe they will go back as a group..at least not for years to come..Niall and Harry's music is a bit similar to 1d's and even louis seems carefree in whatever music the fans wants..but Liam is already saying he wouldn't listen to Harrys Music, and he's wearing big gold chains and has even said of all the solo's from the guys he's pick Zayns pillow talk..the interviewer even seemed shocked that he chose zayn when he was asking about the boys in 1d that had solos Now..an ex member with a 2 year old song wasn't even meant to be part of the choice..so Liam made it clear he doesn't even like music that 1D made..just like Zayn has said. so how will they ever agree on what kind of music 1D does if they do ever go back. Harry will be the biggest star in the world by then.. Niall will be right up there and may even do country..Louis will be happy to be back but Liam wants to do what? rap? R&B? how is that sound going to fit in with Niall & Harry's music? it won't..so the longer they are off doing solo..the more different music we see the more I am convinced we may never see them back together as a group. I can see Niall and Harry doing concerts together though..either as invited guests or some one off tour together..that would be amazing...honestly I think they'd love to have louis too..but with all the Larry shit..Harry's and his management won't even go for that, not when he's worked so hard for the last few years to distance himself form that childish fan fiction. he wants a new respected image,,and theres no place for that. it's sad that Larry's are too immature to see that or they might stand a chance of ever being together as a group again..
